We are looking for a detail-oriented and result-driven Event Planner to organize quarterly tradeshows - everything from A to Z.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Learning an easy to use intranet system
- Hosting the Event
- Coordinating with Exhibitors
- Coordinating with Attendees
- Updating Exhibitor information on a daily/weekly basis
- Creating Press Releases
- Marketing the Tradeshow to create buzz
- Getting Articles written in Industry Publications
Presenting future tradeshow ideas based on industry needsRequirements:
- $13 an hour
- Paid as a 1099 Consultant (long-term position)
- Must have fully-equipped home office
- Dedicated Line with Voicemail (Vonage Line)
- Internet (DSL speed or higher)
