OVERVIEW:

Paramount Equity is looking for an experienced professional with an active DE certification to underwrite residential mortgage loans in accordance with FHA (HUD) and internal guidelines to ensure compliance with company and investor standards.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Possess current, in-depth experience and complete knowledge of FHA lending guidelines and understands how those relate to internal and investor guidelines
- Clearly communicate FHA, corporate, and investor guidelines to customers, loan processors, and sales associates
- Ability to make timely, accurate decisions on all FHA transactions
- Act as secondary review and escalation point for conventional as well as government loans
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of complex personal and business financial analysis and expertise in tax return and balance sheet analysis
- Provide training/mentoring to underwriters, loan processors, and sales associates when needed

Skills:

REQUIREMENTS:

- An active and valid DE/CHUMS ID certification
o Must have consistently underwritten FHA loans within the past 2 years
- 4 or more years of combined professional experience as a Conventional/FHA Underwriter, Processor, Pricing Specialist (Lock Desk), Doc Drawer, Funder, Closer or Post Closer
- High School diploma required
o Bachelors degree from a 4-year college or university a plus
