Kelly Services has five excellent opportunities for experienced mortgage processors!

• The position is located in West Des Moines, IA
• Pay is $14.54/hr
• This is a long-term temporary position with a premier employer
• Full-time temporary positions are available
• Standard work week is Monday through Friday with the work day beginning at 9:00 a.m.
• However occasional overtime or 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. shifts may be required
• As well as an occasional Saturday shift

Minimum requirements:

• Two or more years of mortgage processing experience
• High school diploma or GED, however college experience preferred
• Computer experience (database, MS Office)
• Experience with LPS very beneficial

Mortgage Processor - position overview

• Prepares mortgage loan file by reviewing loan application; clarifying or obtaining additional information.
• Reviews completed loan packages against system data and corrects errors to either loan package and/or system data.
• Obtains mortgage loan documentation by ordering credit report, land survey, building appraisal, title, and related information.
• Identifies mortgage loan application and documentation problems by highlighting deficiencies; notifying mortgage loan underwriter and mortgage loan supervisor.
• Prepares closing statements and informs borrowers by calculating principal and interest payments, and closing costs; forwards information to borrowers.
• Keeps information accessible by sorting, organizing, and filing documents.
• Works well on the telephone with customers and other departments — customer service/phone is approximately +30% of position.
• Maintains customer confidence by keeping mortgage loan information confidential.
• May resolve exception processing issues.
