Mortgage Loan Originator Job Summary
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual dedicated to providing superior customer service. Interviews and receives applications from customers seeking mortgage loans.
1. Originate real estate loans from realtors, builders, and direct sources.
2. Take residential loan applications, and complete all applicable disclosures.
3. Work with the processor from inception through fruition of the processing.
4. Responsible for any follow-up work, such as complaints, problems, concerns, etc.
Mortgage Loan Originator Qualifications
1. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Knowledge of residential mortgage lending, including conventional, FHA, VA, and any other programs offered through Carolina First Mortgage.
3. Sales experience in the mortgage business or in other fields.
4. Aggressive attitude, detail-oriented, ability to follow through, personable, and well-
organized.
5. 1- 3 years previous mortgage loan originator or related experience.
