JOB DESCRIPTION: A banking institution in the Lakewood, OH area is looking for a top performing Loan Processor. This person is responsible for providing quality customer service by obtaining necessary documentation for underwriting the loan file.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Order third party documentation
-Gather completed loan package in proper order for underwriting by verifying that all required documentation is in the file and preparing an audit sheet to document file review
-Directly communicate with customer order to obtain initial and missing documentation required to qualify for the loan
-Prepare proper disclosures as required by regulations
-Communicate with various companies to obtain Property Survey, Flood Certificate, Title Commitment, and payoff information
-Process correspondent loan files by reviewing and updating applications in Loan Origination System.
-Enter borrower funds and update spreadsheet describing deposits
REQUIREMENTS:
-High School diploma
-Knowledge of RESPA guidelines and loan documents
-Good computer skills
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-High attention to detail and accuracy
-Ability to multitask
