Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Opening loan file in Loan Origination Software
Pulling and reviewing credit report
Verifying that documentation provided by Loan officer and Borrower matches loan application
Running loan file through automated underwriting engines as appropriate
Collecting all necessary documentation needed to submit loan file
Submission of loan file prior to commitment date
Typing of Pre-approval or Approval letters
Ordering title, insurance, flood and whatever other documents are needed to clear the file to close
Turning file into closing department clear to close with all necessary documents, i.e. flood, hazard insurance, title commitment, MI certificate (if necessary), termite if government loan etc.
Communicate with all interested parties status of the loan file.
Quality Control
The ideal candidate will possess:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a mortgage loan processor.
Must have DU & LP experience.
Must also be able to type and know Microsoft Office products.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Must be able to work independently and research problems and questions as required.
Bilingual Spanish
