Mortgage Loan Closer
JOB PURPOSE: The primary purpose of the Loan Closer is to prepare the legal documents for settlement.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review documents obtained from the settlement agent/attorney for accuracy.
Enter loan information accurately into the loan processing system, then print/email loan documents.
Close loans according to company, investor, federal and local requirements.
Review documents and fix any problems and/or errors prior to releasing documents to closing agent.
Ensure that the Closing Agent receives the loan package prior to the scheduled settlement date, so final documents can be prepared for a timely settlement.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Skills / Abilities:
Excellent typing skills of at least 45 wpm; strong communication skills; strong customer service skills; strong organizational skills; ability to work under pressure with deadlines; ability to work overtime; detail oriented; ability to review own work for accuracy.
EXPERIENCE:
3 years experience closing all types of mortgage loans to include Bond, Construction-Perm and Coop loans; customer service experience, office skills and computer literate
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
College Degree (preferred)
High school diploma or equivalent
