Job Description:
Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, an industry leader in Reverse Mortgage lending, is seeking mortgage loan officers to originate Reverse Mortgages in the Chicagoland area.
The Reverse Mortgage Consultant is responsible for creating awareness and demand for Reverse Mortgages. The ideal candidate is empathetic to the unique needs of Senior’s and passionate about helping them achieve their financial goals.
Please note this is an external/outside oriented 100% commission sales position, with a monthly draw, full benefits and matching 401k.
Duties include:
Producing high quality loans which meet Wells Fargo Home Mortgage guidelines while providing excellent customer service Soliciting reverse mortgages from various sources including Community Outreach Programs, attorneys, healthcare organizations, realtors, financial planners/professionals, past customers and other nontraditional sources. Developing relationships with business referral sources and making sales calls Developing and maintaining a high degree of visibility for WFHM in the community Performing miscellaneous duties as needed and required
Minimum Qualifications:
Job experience: Mortgage sales experience a plus Proven ability to self-source leads and to create profitable business relationships with referral partners Skills/competencies: Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain programs, loan terms, features, policies and benefits to customers and business partners Demonstrated customer service skills Comfortable delivering presentations to groups Entrepreneurial Spirit Computer Savvy (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Preferred Skills: BA Business degree or related experience Public speaking experience Experience establishing and sustaining relationships with Professionals who serve Senior Population (e.g Financial Planners, Lawyers, Accountants)
