Job Description:
OBJECTIVES OF POSITION
The purpose of this position is to provide sales & fulfillment support for both Internal (GT Servicing, 3rd Party, SerVertis). Accountable for providing high quality customer service for fulfillment services, and responsible for implementing the loan process precisely, for gathering all necessary documentation required, and performing all loan file structure calculations required to complete the fulfillment process.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Provide positive, proactive, urgent communication of loan status to Sales and Customer(s).
* Perform necessary sales fulfillment for GT Internal customers.
* Process & Order stipulations on complex loan files, verifying accuracy of documents received, order missing documents, credit reports, title, payoffs, appraisals, 1040’s, financial statements, W-2’s, etc.
* Ensure loan packages comply with Green Tree policies and procedures as well as investor policies and procedures.
* Work closely with Sales and/or Customer service, Underwriters, Funders, and facilitate loan processing.
* Maintain and control fee log for customary 3rd party fees needed to complete loan processing.
* Other duties as assigned.
SELECTION CRITERIA
* 3-5 years of experience originating, underwriting or processing loans.
* 3+ years experience in a sales environment
* Strong knowledge of all facets of residential lending in the mortgage industry.
* Broad understanding of underwriting criteria for Agency, FHA and Non-conforming loan programs.
* Good sales/communication ability.
* Strong multi-task skills.
* Experience with DU/DO, Word, Excel, and Ellie Mae Encompass applications preferred.
