American Bank is a Federally Chartered Community Bank located in the Washington DC area.  We have a robust national residential mortgage division and are currently seeking qualified mortgage underwriters.  We offer a great salary with benefits and also have a work culture that is driven by teamwork.

 

Requirements:

 

De designation a must

Significant experience working with DU and LP

Excellent critical thinking skills

Must be able to effectively communicate with processing staff

Experience underwriting to multiple sets of investor guidelines

 

Specifics:

 

Base salary: 55,000 to 70,000 with ample overtime also available

Full medical benefits along with 401k

Vacation and sick pay

Available: Immediate

Location:  Greenbelt,MD and/or Rockville, MD
